“In response to a request for comments from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding new rules regulating over-the-counter hearing aids, NAAG submitted comments encouraging the FDA to take the below steps to ensure that states maintain a role as regulators in this emerging market.”
October 8, 2021. AG Nessel Issues Notice of Intended Action to AZ Hearing Device Business
"Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel issued a notice of intended action under Michigan's Consumer Protection Act to an Arizona business by directing the company to cease and desist from engaging in allegedly unlawful business practices related to its sale of advertised 'hearing aids.'"
